The tanks need to be switched when going from vacuuming to wet mopping, but they are easy to remove and empty when your robot is done cleaning. Without attachments, the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser is still a dependable vacuum. It had no problem picking up stray debris from my hardwood floors in high-traffic spots like the litter box and food/water bowl areas. The suction wasn’t quite strong enough to get all the litter out of the mat I keep outside the litter box, but it did a respectable job sucking up the litter that wasn’t trapped in the deeper layers.
Special consideration is also given to each vacuum cleaner’s ease of use. Battery runtime, extra features and attachments are also evaluated and noted for each model as applicable. The Bissell FAQ page says that the Pet Hair Eraser lasts for 17 consecutive minutes. I got just over 18 minutes, but others boast up to 30 minutes of battery life, depending on how taxing the vacuuming is. However, because this handheld vacuum is better for spot cleaning, you probably won’t be using it for the entire length of its battery life in one sitting. I cleaned the bottom of my cat tree in less than a minute, even switching between attachments.
Thanks to this light and nimble machine, it’s easy to clean Lemmy’s fur off our carpets and hardwood floors. The 27-foot cord lets me float from room to room without having to constantly unplug it, and with the push of a button, the automatic cord rewind feature neatly takes care of the rest. I also don’t have to worry about all our hair wrapping around the brush roll, since it utilizes an essential tangle-free design.
Everything we’ve seen so far indicates an improvement on the original, with the Edge promising better edge cleaning and the Turbo offering more powerful suction. Good to know
You can’t set Keep Out bissell pet vacuum zones until after a map is finished, which is a little counterintuitive. The app can also be a little glitchy, and like all robot vacs, it’s not always effective when cleaning tight corners.
