An avid cyclist, Ignaz Schwinn met Adolf Arnold in Chicago in the 1890s while working as a machinist. After working in numerous factories for a few years, the pair decided to start their own bike company. Genesis invented gravel bikes, and the Vin Cox set a Guinness World Record for the fastest bike around the world.
