We can guarantee that there is a K-Cup pod out there for the type of coffee you enjoy drinking. Unless, of course, you only drink medium roast from a specific plantation in Jamaica or something. But even for those who are insanely specific about keurig classic their coffee beans (we get it), you can also use your own ground coffee. To do so, you need to purchase a Keurig My K-Cup, a reusable, re-fillable basket that fits in just like a pod. Getting ready for the commute to work couldn’t be easier.

Nespresso also offers a recycling program that makes it easy to ship your pods free of charge to a Nespresso site that will take care of everything for you. Use a toothpick or paperclip and run it up into the needle and unclog the slot, rinse and reassemble and it should work correctly. I tried that a few months before and I had not luck BUT someone here (cant recall who) that the issue had to do with the K-cups receiving too much pressure when it initially gets punctured. Their solution was to manually insert the K-cup and to press it down until it’s punctured twice. But the second puncture should be 180 degrees from the first one. This has solved my problem every time but I’m still going to try removing the gasket as noted by the comment below from Rita on July 18th.

In late 2018 the entire K-series of 2.0 brewers, including the K250, had been fully discontinued due to customer backlash and poor sales. The oldest Keurig brewers were labeled B-Series brewers as in the Keurig B50. These B-Series brewers gained popularity in the late 2000s and early 2010s. For a few dollars more the water tank gets bigger meaning you won’t have to refill it as often and you will be able to refill it easier. The K-Classic has a reservoir that is sized at 48-ounces according to the box but in the real world is a bit bigger than that also. Today we are going to be looking closely at these three commonly purchased Keurig brewers.

Additionally, there are still concerns regarding the safety of single serve brewers, though, which are believed to be prone to growth of mold, algae, and bacteria. ✓ Saves energy and provides extra protection with auto-off. This feature is programmed to turn of the coffee maker automatically after it has been idle for 2 hours.
