Coleman 8 Person Instant Camping Tent 14 x 10 Express Setup

This 6 person tent is more deluxe than the original product and its alternatives, but customers feel it’s a worthy investment for camping-lovers. If you decide you’re into camping for the long haul, consider this as your upgrade for the future. The canvas is sturdy and withstands coleman instant tent rain, you can stand up in it regardless of height, and it has plenty of ventilation while keeping things private. This is a good tent for six people who don’t mind a tight fit. On the other hand, it would make a fantastic tent for backyard camping for six kids.

Last year I bought a Coleman 8 Man Instant Tent, since I usually camp alone it looked like a good product. I spent three weeks going up the Arkansas river valley in Colorado from Salida to Leadville prospecting for gold. The first day I set the tent up the wind blew it over while I was setting it up, 3 “Knuckle” joints broke instantly, they are a part of the tent poles that allow the tent to “pop up”. This was not a strong wind, more like a gust in a breeze and should not have injured the tent at all. During the course of camping all 6 of these joints broke and I used duct tape to hold the poles together (which was far superior to the cheap brittle plastic joints that came with the tent).

With all its windows closed, this Coleman 10-Person Instant Dark Room Tent is almost pitch black, even though there are still street lights from the outside. The back door measures about 47 by 46 inches in dimensions, and it’s about 53 inches from the floor to the top of coleman instant tent the door. Again, because of the slant of the walls, I do also have to duck quite a bit to get in and out of the tent. This Coleman 10-Person Instant Tent has a peak height of 73.5 inches, and I can reach the top of the tent very easily by just stretching my arm out.

One of the best features about this tent is the dark room technology. In the above pictures, you saw what this Coleman 10-Person Instant Cabin Tent looked like with all the windows open. If there’s no rain, you you can unzip the windows for more ventilation, and there’s a bug net to prevent larger bugs from getting in. Have used it roughly once each year and I use it by myself or with only one other person, so not under heavy repeated use.

The Instant Tent 6 is also lacking a couple of other features that would help it compete with several similar tents. There’s also no room divider, but this was less of a priority given the lack of coleman instant tent entryways. Our other main issue was the lack of a vestibule, which means that in the case of a sudden rainstorm, there will be no dry area to store your wet clothes before entering the tent.
