Most folks using a screen house while camping aren’t going to be trekking into the wilderness. You have a combination of steel used for its 6+2 legs, and fiberglass used for the 4 roof poles. The elbow elements which connect the roof poles and the legs are pre-attached to the tent so you cannot lose them, see one in the picture below. However, the setup time of this huge tent is some 20 minutes or so. It is much easier to set it up with a partner, this holds in particular for the fly because of the height of the tent.
The outer material is UV sun-protected, and there are large mesh windows for ventilation. It’s easy to set up with one person in under 10 minutes and comes with a floor. The center height is very tall at seven and a half feet and features a straight wall design making it plenty big enough to fit over a picnic table. The one thing I’ll note is that this tent doesn’t hold up as well for continuous use, but frankly, none of these screen tents are designed to be permanent fixtures in your yard.

Throw the screen cloth onto the roof of the skeleton and connect each corner to the bottom of each pole with the connected hook. Place end joints firmly onto the two other longest poles that will be the sides of the your Screenhouse. Put one “L” joint and one “R” joint on each pole, then orient them to accept poles from the center pole’s direction. Place the two joint sections marked “T” on either side of the pole that will be your center, most-elevated pole. I like that the Alvantor Screen House folds down flat so it’s easy to lay flat on other gear or store in a narrow space. There are stake loops at the bottom of the shelter, so it should withstand mild weather. Still, I’d recommend buying guylines for any serious wind. One thing I don’t love about this model is that the rain fly and guylines are sold separately.
