Ozark Trail 10′ x 10′ Dual Peak Canopy 100 Square feet

The legs are locked into place with old school metal push button locks, something you won’t see on many modern pop up tents now-a-days. These push locks get very difficult to use over time, especially if the tent is used on the beach and exposed ozark trail backpack to sand and saltwater, causing rust build up. Many newer tent brands like EZ-Up use revolutionary thumb lock sliders or larger easy to release buttons, which are a much better user experience when setting the canopy up or taking it down.

In the past I have been at other lakes that has had a lot more wind then what this tent was not able to take. I now have a broken pole and a hole in the tent. I have camped there all my life and have never had that problem. I hate that someone decided to steal a bag off my porch that contained the hub. I explained for the same price I could buy another tent for my cub scout at that price and there reply was (yes you could) and she said that there was nothing they could do.

This canopy gives 64 sq ft of coverage with an SPF of 50+ and features an easy-up design with telescoping legs, so it can be set up in just a matter of minutes. Plus it includes stakes and guy ropes, and a wheeled bag for easy transportation and storage. The weight of this Ozark Trail is lighter than ozark trail sleeping bag most of the same size alternative steel frame canopy tents, coming in right about 29 lbs. An argument can be made as to whether this is good or bad. From a positive perspective, the lightweight design increases portability which is certainly important in carrying the tent to its intended location.

The canopy folds down to 52.5″ in length and easily fits into the roller bag with all of the accessories. I went camping with the Scouts and the poles ozark trail canopy broke after one trip. It couldn’t resist the wind and it also flooded. 30 minutes later one pole snapped, and we fixed it with some good old duck tape.

The Ozark Trail canopy very well might be one of the best selling 10×10 tent brands of all time. The easily recognizable logo has been seen by nearly everyone at youth soccer tournaments or beach vacations in recent years. 2nd time out , it rained hard and oh guess what? 3rd time out (no rain or wind) broke the rear locker rod and 1 main pole on the 2nd day of a 3 day trip . I took the time to set it up before the camping event (which I highly recommend) and not only was it easy to set up, it worked well.
