We ask that you return your bike to the same place it was purchased. If you purchased on our website, we can accept the return. If bought at an outside retailer, be sure to have your receipt. If bought on our website, please have your order number on hand. If there are any issues with your bike, return it for a full refund or receive a replacement bike for free. Your bike frame & fork are protected under our Lifetime Warranty policy.
We are situated just south of Hawkhurst on the Kent / East Sussex Border. We are in The Bodiam Business Park, which is Rural Industrial Estate, with traffic free private roads allowing the peaceful, safe testing of electric bikes. All of our e-bikes come with a guarantee and some even come complete with a year’s free bicycle insurance. 100% or interest free finance is available – subject to credit rating – and a low deposit secures any bike.
In low power mode, the battery is sufficient for 15 miles (25 km) of range. Of course, if the battery ever runs out, the e-bike simply turns back into a standard pedal bike. There’s even a six-speed transmission that makes the kent seachange bike bike extra pedal-friendly even without any electric assist. There are medium and low power modes that provide even softer assistance. An led battery meter is mounted on the handlebars that also houses the power mode selector.
A 180W motor is relatively small and so is a 125Wh battery, but the Torpedo still weighs in at nearly 18kg. That’s quite a bit for a child to shift when there’s no power left. Whether you need to commute to work or take relaxing rides in the afternoon, these cruiser bikes are up for the task.

The brake levers that control a pair of v-brakes also have sensors to cut motor power any time the brakes are pulled. The motor is supplied by an adorable little 24v 5.2Ah battery. The motor doesn’t add any assist unless the rider is pedaling, and the assist cuts out immediately when pedaling stops.
If riders score 100% on the quiz, they will earn $5 in Spin credit. Anyone who takes the quiz, regardless of their score, is given the opportunity to order a free helmet, shipped directly to the rider’s home. SPIN shared eScooters and eBikes must park within one of the designated SPIN GeoZones to end any ride. When riders end a trip, they must park in the GeoZone that appears on the app or SPIN may issue fines for non-compliance. If a ride ends outside of a GeoZone, SPIN will email the user with a warning. If non-compliance continues to be a problem, SPIN may issue a fine.
