Trails are mainly level, unpaved gravel paths with wooden bridges and boardwalks.

A 1.5 mile trail of compact gravel with wooden boardwalks and wooden bridges. This relatively flat trail contains both shady sections and full sun exposure and features one shortcut allowing you to shorten the loop to 1 mile. An 8.5-mile paved hike-bike trail traverses the picturesque landscapes circling Kent Lake.

Nature trails are not cleared or salted in the winter and may be snow-covered, slippery or muddy. Explore trails that aren’t on the app but clearly exist

Kent Bikes are equipped with either rim brakes or disc brakes. Disc brakes are more effective and offer better stopping power, especially in wet conditions. However, rim brakes are easier to maintain and less expensive.
You should familiarize yourself with each area in advance of the rental lottery. Kensington staff will be contacting lottery winners in order, so please be prepared to make your decision in a timely manner. After selecting a slip, you will not have an opportunity to return the slip for another. Boats must be removed on or before this date so that the water level can be lowered to the winter level.
