Despite their low cost, Kent Tandem Bikes offer good performance and handling on the road or on light trails. They are easy to control and maneuver, with a responsive feel that allows riders to enjoy the ride together. However, we also have noticed that the build quality of these bikes is not as high as more expensive models, and they may require more frequent maintenance and repairs. Additionally, some of our test riders found the seat and pedals on Kent BMX bikes to be uncomfortable or poorly designed. And if you’re a beginner mountain biker, these bikes are a great choice because they’re affordable and built to last.

Kent does not belong to the “top bike brands” category like Trek, Cannondale, Santa Cruz, or GT Bicycles. You can consider Kent a “Walmart brand” that sells more affordable mid-to low-quality bikes that still serve a large customer base in the USA. There’s a wide range of prices, so it’s worth doing a bit of homework before you buy. But generally, you can expect to pay a bit more for one of these bikes than you would for a lower-quality one. The frames and components aren’t as robust or lightweight as some of the pricier brands.

Take a swim at one of our beaches; get soaked at the Splash ‘n’ Blast; or just spend the day fishing, hiking or picnicking along the water. Take a tour aboard the Island Queen; hit the tees for a round of golf; or spin through a game of disc golf.
A valid Michigan Fishing License or Sportsperson’s License is required for all anglers age 17 and up. Fishing is not permitted on Kingfisher Lagoon or Wildwing Lake. School, scout or community groups can experience the farm with customizable on-site programs. The baskets are only in the ground for a short time each year, so try to get a round in when you can. At 10,210 feet, this champion-level par 63 course has a mix of large elevation changes and tight fairways that will test every shot in your bag. Bring a spotter because it has long holes and punishing rough.
