Ozark Trail Tents on Walmart com 12-Person Tent Cabins, Yurts, & More

This would be great for anyone that plans to sit down in the shelter. The one exception to the rule here is for the larger cabin-style tents, especially those with an “instant tent” design that uses pre-attached poles. These shelters tend to be much heavier and bulkier when packed up due to the frame design, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve got room to transport them in your vehicle and store them in your home before buying.

The sun shield was a success considering the $50 price point. For a 10-person tent, I would expect the tent to have at least 2 doors, 1 on each opposite wall of the tent, and both my WeatherMaster 10-Person ozark trail sleeping bag Tent and my Coleman 10-Person Instant Tent have 2 doors each. So, without tons of additional waterproofing, Ozark Trail tents are definitely not meant for rainy weather of any kind, even in light rain.

It doesn’t have to be perfect, but it beats sitting in the actual rain trying to control an umbrella. It kept anyone out of the sun who chose to be that day. Whether you were just hot, or starting to sun burn, it definitely served it’s purpose.

Put coats on, turned the grill to the lowest setting and went to sleep. This tent, still new in the cardboard box inside the carry bag and never set up, was the best thing to happen to me. We got where we were going in late evening, and that night (about 20 minutes after arriving) we started feeling frozen droplets.

Very tall in the middle allowing me at 6 feet 3 inches tall and 260 pounds to finally be able to stand all the way up and not feel crowded in a tent. The closets seemed pointless when we bought it but have turned out to be a huge help. It lets you keep everything off the floor and out of your way so middle-of-the-night trips out of the tent do not include tripping over anything. The square sides mean that the entirety of the floor space is fully usable, unlike more common dome tents.

Oddly enough, Ozark Trail’s most basic, base bones shelter takes the title of most durable. We chose the Ozark Trail Clip & Camp because unlike larger cabins with plastic hubs and countless poles, this traditional two-pole dome has the fewest number of parts that can potentially fail. When you’re looking at what you want in a tent, consider how many people are going to be using it.

I also rain tested my Coleman Sundome Tents, and I have the regular 6-person version, the 6-Person Dark Room version, and also the Elite 6-Person version. All these tents were able to stay dry for about 30 to 35 minutes of heavy pouring rain. Ease of setup (how easy it is to pitch and take down a tent) is pretty much always a high mark for Ozark Trail tents. These tents are built for first-time and/or fairweather campers, so Ozark Trail puts a lot of effort into making them easy to use.

These are simple fast steps that can be done super quick during set up. I purchased this tent at a local Wal-mart prior to going on a dirt biking trip with friends in March. For those who don’t know, March in Colorado means sudden snowstorms and REALLY cold nights in the mountains (even though the days are warm). You unfold all the poles and make sure to extend them out. Extending them was the part that took us a bit to figure out.

Made of a durable polyester construction, this canopy tent provides 100 square feet of cooling shade anywhere and the easy push-button system offers safe setup and takedown. It features built-in vents on the top for added ventilation and offers you 50+ UV protection from the hot sun all day long. All you need to do to put together this Ozark Trail 10-foot by 10-foot Canopy is extend the one-piece steel frame, attach the canopy top, and adjust the telescoping 3-position legs to the desired height.

It has generous mesh D-windows, and a full rain-fly. The gear storage sacks are situated on opposite corners of the room. I broke out the Ozark Trail Sun Shade on my first outing this season. It took me a few minutes to figure out that the flaps on the bottom ozark trail screen house are designed to be sandbags for use at the beach. I appreciated the directions being attached to the storage bag so they did not get lost or misplaced. It was helpful that I happened to have a hammer to pound the eight stakes into the hard ground.
