A lot of attention has been given to the graphics and the colors on this new bike. There are some very striking and eye-catching graphics such as the rainbow-cross design, which is actually the name of the bike. The Hyper mountain bike also comes in a number of different colored graphics which can be changed easily at the touch of a button. I was a bit surprised by this because the manufacturer should have sent us the part since the bike was just ordered brand new and we had the order number and receipt. For a product that would have cost the company a minimum of $10 to ship out, I did find it a bit frustrating that their customer service was so poor and we ended up having to pay for the replacement ourselves. Mongoose bike frames are also lightweight and durable, but they’re not as expensive as hyper bike frames.
All things considered, for under a grand, you get an urban-looking electric bike with a nifty 250 watts of pedal assistance, and a claimed range of 20 miles on a single charge. Technically speaking, its battery pack consists of a basic 36-volt, 10-ampere-hour unit. However, for an additional $200, you can bump up the bike’s range to 40 miles by carrying around a second battery pack in your rucksack.

The brand’s e-bike offerings, some of which can even be found in Walmart, are indeed built to a budget, but nonetheless offer the enhanced mobility you’d come to expect from an e-bike. What started out as a commuter-focused machine has quickly evolved to cover all facets of the cycling world. From e-road bikes to cutting edge electric mountain bikes, the e-bike world is now rife with options for folks of all cycling backgrounds, yes, including BMX. Hyper Bikes produces both road and mountain bikes, and its products are used by professional cyclists as well as recreational riders. I was looking for a cheap bike that will get me around the park and back. Almost all tough terrain is a breeze with 18 speed gear system.
Mongoose bikes are generally harder to find than Hyper bikes. When it comes to choosing a bike, there are many factors to consider. But two of the most important factors are the brand and the type of bike.
Eventually, they veered into mountain bikes and commuter-specific bikes, which are now sold through Walmart in the USA & Canada. The other half of this is getting the bikes to the place they wanted them. A few problems I found with the bike are as follows-
First, I don’t like how the handle bars are designed because you need a wrench to tighten them up and put them on. This is slightly annoying because other than the tires, everything else is assembled using hyper bicycles hex keys (also known as an allen wrench). I would have prefered if the handlebars required Hex keys because you could use a multi-tool to quickly make adjustments while riding without needing any other items, but as it is now I always have to carry an adjustable wrench with me. The wrench built into my multi-tool is made for tires, so it is slightly too large to fit and adjust the handlebars because they used another type of bolt like screw for it.
The Hyper Havoc FS mountain bike is 26″ in size, it is a 21 speed mountain bike, with Shimono gear shifters. Before I get into all the cons with the bike, I will first tell about the pros. The most obvious pro is the price, this bike is very cheap and affordable for what you get in the box and for most purposes of daily commutes to the store or to work, it will do perfectly. So far I have owned this bike for close to a month, so I will tell my thoughts about all the pros and cons I have found. The bike is easy to ride as long as you adjust the seat, oil the chain, and keep the bike maintained, you shouldn’t have too many problems with it straight out the box.
Customer service – There have been some complaints about Hyper’s customer service in the past. But one of the most important decisions you’ll make is choosing between a Hyper bike and a Mongoose bike. “CatEye is the leading manufacturer of cycle computers, lights and reflectors to cyclists hyper bicycles in the world. Founded in 1954 in Osaka, Japan, CatEye has always been a leader in innovation and technology.” The bike didn’t even come with an Ellen key which is ridiculous and the instruction manual was so vague and didn’t give any clear directions on how to assemble the bike.
