The Brookstone cuts fine, but its guide design is fussy—five different guides, each of which has five different settings, and they’re rather flimsy. I did so comfortably without snags and my face was not irritated at all after doing so. It’s easy to use and to clean, the battery lasts forever and the build is really sturdy. It can work as your only groomer, but as I tried to emphasize in the performance section of the review, the Norelco Multigroom 7000 won’t be ideal in every situation. But unless you ding it or lose it, it’s unlikely you’ll need to replace it anytime soon.
