That’s right, this mountain bike is “one size fits all.” Well, technically it fits all the people between 5’4″ and 6’2″ tall. Rounding up, I’m 6’3″ tall, so technically I’m outside schwinn hybrid bike this bike’s intended height range. Yet, I was able to raise the seat as high as I liked, and felt comfortable enough to bang out a couple 25-mile+ rides on the Axum.

Soon after the move my mother passed away at the young age of 55-years old. She left behind some insurance money that seemed like a fortune to me. As you can guess, a fool and his money were soon to part.

100 mm travel front suspension fork with lockout absorbs bumps on the trail for a more comfortable ride. 8 speeds with trigger shifters make it easy to adapt schwinn cruiser bike to your terrain. A year later I sold the mountain bike and then tried a hybrid. Dang, the cycling industry really had a thing for splatter paint around 1990.

Peloton received 35 reports of broken seat posts during use, a number of which led to falls and injury. Love to walk around with it and pedestrians turn when we pass by. But getting on our step-thru frame electric bike is very gentle and elegant. Even with the step-thru structure, the overall structure is still very solid. The motor is also very powerful, so don’t worry that such an elegant electric bike won’t give you the power you want. As I pondered being out in the woods in my birthday suit, I saw wheels…Two of them in a store window. At that point I asked the budding photographer to pull over into the parking lot of the local Schwinn shop. In the shop, I hurriedly purchased a Schwinn High Plains mountain bike for $335.

Unfortunately the fork is no match for riding fast over bumpy terrain. The 100mm fork offers little more than shock absorption and is not tunable beyond the simple lockout. It’s good for taking the sting off some hits, and in my opinion better than a rigid fork, but that’s about it.

In addition, we found that it’s possible to hit a knee on a taller water bottle while pedaling—a combination of the slight angle of the water-bottle holders and personal fit. The seat and handlebar adjustments aren’t numbered, so your setting isn’t marked as obviously as on some other bikes. And the seat’s fore and aft seat adjustment uses tick marks, making it a bit easier to eyeball the distance but not as clear as a set of numbers.

Well needless to say I have rode over a 1000 miles in 4 months and have lost about 65 lbs. Thanks to my cheetah I’m going to be around for a long time . Thanks for listening and may your ride be pleasant and the joggers get out of your way . On smooth surfaces, the Axum is fast and stable, albeit at times too stable with a bit of an auto-steer feeling similar to a fat bike.

It was black, fast and the stereo system would give passengers heart palpitations. I was going to be without wheels for at least a month while they worked to put my car back together again. The passenger side seat belt buckle bracket was not properly welded, which could result in the seat belt anchor point separating from the frame, posing an injury hazard to consumers.
