Schwinn Men’s Standpoint 27 5″ Mountain Bike Bikes

I sometimes wonder where I would be today if she had just asked to go out for a cheeseburger, beer and a couple cigarettes. This recall involves Schwinn Abbott Adult Men’s Full Suspension Mountain Bicycles. The bicycles are black with green, yellow and blue accent colors on the downtubes.

The balloon tire popularized by the Schwinns had the same wheel diameter, cross-sectional diameter and carcass construction as the tires used by the Marin County pioneers in the 1970’s. The fat tire gives mountain bikes their comfortable, stable and sure-footed ride. The Schwinn IC4 has an LCD console that displays a full schwinn cruiser bike suite of metrics, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, which allows the bike to connect to eight different cycling apps and a heart-rate monitor. (The bike does not have a built-in touchscreen.) We like its adaptability, functionality, and smooth ride. For starters, the Axum ships with a one-by, eight speed drivetrain.

Well needless to say I have rode over a 1000 miles in 4 months and have lost about 65 lbs. Thanks to my cheetah I’m going to be around for a long time . Thanks for listening and may your ride be pleasant and the joggers get out of your way . On smooth surfaces, the Axum is fast and stable, albeit at times too stable with a bit of an auto-steer feeling similar to a fat bike.

They also look great and hold resale value when it comes to getting rid of or upgrading to something with a little more performance. Schwinn is at the top of our list for solid entry-level mountain bikes. When it comes to cycling, Schwinn is an entry-level brand you will hear a lot about, and they have an incredible heritage when it comes to bikes, especially mountain bikes.

We noted the recommended height range and the maximum ride weight for each bike (though admittedly we were not able to test with as wide a range of testers as we would have liked). We also assessed the ease of adjustability and noted whether a seat post, for instance, schwinn hybrid bike had easily identifiable markings to record our sizing. I was Wirecutter’s staff writer of fitness coverage from summer 2019 through summer 2022. (I’ve now moved into an editing role.) I wrote our reviews of treadmills and the workout-streaming Mirror.
