Parts of the Park, including the tarmac track and mountain bike trails, can be booked by third parties such as clubs and groups. You will ride the mountain bike trails which takes in twists, turns, lumps ‘n bumps and small hills. DEER RUN TRAIL – 1.5 MILES

A 1.5 kent hybrid bike mile trail of compact gravel paths with wooden boardwalks. This mostly shaded trail is relatively flat and features two shortcuts that allow you to shorten the trail to a half mile or 1 mile loop. This trail travels through wetlands and mixed forest habitats.

Opened in 1961, Kensington Metropark’s sprawling 6,624 yard, par 71 course is one of seven regulation Metroparks golf courses. The Kensington Metropark course boasts varied terrain, tree-lined fairways and abundant wildlife. Open fairways and fast greens allow both novice and experienced golfers the opportunity to challenge and improve their games. Annual kent bayside cruiser Bag Tags and Daily Wristbands are available for purchase at the Kensington Metropark Office and the disc golf booth at the Black Locust course. Enjoy a game of baseball or softball at one of our fields located at Playfield picnic area, as well as North Martindale picnic areas. Players will be tested in communication skills, working as a team and good sportsmanship. We are well serviced by the main rail networks and Southeastern High Speed from London. Our nearest kent bayside cruiser train stations are Deal (3 miles) or Sandwich (4 miles). Participants walk or run around the park finding your route between marker posts (controls) using the special orienteering map.
