This section acts as a porch, so you can keep away from bugs while still feel joined in to those hanging outside. Other notable features include the eight reflective colored guy ropes, an interior loop for hanging a lantern, and pockets for storing small items.
Four total windows are adjustable from the inside of the tent. They’re double-zippered, and it’s just a matter of rolling them up and stowing them away to enjoy a breeze or take in a view in the morning. Also, a rear window accessed from the outside can be staked out into a small awning that protects the tent’s interior if you need a little extra air when it’s raining. The front door runs nearly the tent’s entire height, and an additional bug net door mirrors it exactly. If need be, one or both of these doors can be rolled back completely, converting the tent into an open-air structure that still keeps the bugs out. When you’re looking at what you want in a tent, consider how many people are going to be using it.
After spending a lot of time with Ozark Trail tents, my final verdict is that they’re excellent budget-friendly tents. Similar to Costco’s Kirkland brand, Ozark Trail tents are Walmart’s house-branded tent. This tent is heavy (near 50 lbs), but for all of its size, it’s not that bad. The final tent I’ll review today is Ozark Trail’s largest – their 14 person, 4-room tent. This will give you more waterproofing and better secure your tent’s seams. Your options might be to use only family-style campsites, which cost more and often have less privacy.
