As you have seen, the roof is all mesh and there are two windows plus one window on the only door, and they are all with mesh and panels. With its 60 seconds setup time it is very suitable for users who change the place frequently, and it is at a price that is hard to match. So this is again a very functional setup suitable for picnics.
It worked well that night and I got some rain in but nothing serious. Now a few years later I erected it in the backyard just for fun. This piece of crap promises the buyer a lot for a lot of money, but what you get is something of lesser quality than if you bought a tent from the local Dollar store. The final tent I’ll review today is Ozark Trail’s largest – their 14 person, 4-room tent. This will give you more waterproofing and better secure your tent’s seams. I also found a bunch of loose threads on the floor when I first got into the tent, and excess material on some parts. I called North Pole (the makers of Ozark Trail tents) not to get much help! It has held up to kids camping in the living room and back yard, many camping trips to desert / forest / lake environments and even survived a bear “attack” with only a small tear. The question I put to you are you making this material out of pewter or real metal. Let me just tell you this, it doesn’t make a difference what model your tent is.
The door does have a bug net, but it’s only for half the door, and not the full door. The holes are quite large, so I’m pretty sure that this is not no-see-um mesh. The 2 green pole sleeves are for the longer diagonal poles (with 9 fiberglass segments), and the 1 blue pole sleeve is the for the shorter pole (with 5 fiberglass segments).
The dimensions and the shape are the same as in their Ozark Trail 6-Person Dark Rest Instant Cabin Tent. Regarding the weight, this system is heavy, but there are many elements here and this is a very stable structure. This is a car camping tent so the weight is not really ozark trail canopy a big issue. I also liked how my head wasn’t directly beside the door, which often occurs for an end-door tent. If something crawled through the zipper door it wouldn’t immediately be inches from my face but instead would have to work its way a few more feet to my head.
