Got this product, it came with no instructions. Just like all the other reviews it sucks. As I said at the start, this is the worst screen house I’ve ever owned. The tent fabric roof provides shade for 46 square feet of the room. The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted ozark trail canopy 360-degree panoramic shelter. Got this tent as a father’s day gift. Decided to use it to go camping with my fiance and we were going to set up before we went.
I put it up in my yard for my now wife’s bridal shower. I had it spiked down and secured really good. It looked wonderful in the yard so I decided to leave it for a while. I came in from work one day and to my surprise it was 60 yards away from me all torn up from landing on my neighbor’s spiked fence. It was torn up pretty bad so I decided to trash it.

It is of poor design, in that this could be avoided using 2 more yellow, curved roof poles which would not allow the rain to puddle on the roof. My husband and I were in the screen room, keeping the rain from puddling for more than a half hour. We will not replace the 3-way hubs again. The rest of the process was funny too, with wimpy frizzy guylines, and inexplicable bits of plastic that are supposed to tighten them. I had to use every knot I’ve learned from rock climbing. There’s shade, and fewer bugs than outside the screenhouse.
The were never opened by the seller. We have only been using one since. After a pretty bad storm at the beach, a few of the poles broke…so we are moving onto the next new one and selling the first for parts. We placed the screen house over a picnic table at the campsite and it did a fairly good job of keeping insects out while we were eating.
For the moment, my dream of an extra room in the back yard has come true. Wish me luck putting it up at the wedding. One mad idea often begets another, and that is how this $34.95 purchase came about. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere in the blog, I’m getting married in Joshua Tree on August 2nd, outdoors.
Don’t try to save a few dollars and end up with a POS like this one. Queen Bee is an amazing site with great deals no doubt, but my favorite parts are the snippets of silliness, morning coffee, amazing second hand finds. Queen Bee has saved me lots of money, but it’s also brightened many a days! When I got the thing home and deboxed it, the reality began to set in.
