Ozark Trail Climatech 30-Degree Lightweight Sleeping Bag Review

Trailspace’s community of gear reviewers has field-tested and rated the top warm weather sleeping bags. Keep children comfortable during nights in the ozark trail sun shelter tent inside the Ozark Trail Kids 2-lb Sleeping Bag. It is made from a breathable polyester material that keeps little one’s snug while they sleep.

The actual product may be a different color or model. A subreddit for campers concerned more about the act of camping and less concerned about hiking long distances or light gear. I don’t mind cheap…but I don’t like to purchase a product and then feel like company I just threw money at was trying to hide something from me. If they wanted to skimp on fabric, it should have been used on the outside and bottom of the bag! Not on the interior where comfort is the main issue. I was on a budget so I figured I would go with a less expensive bag.

We layer a blanket between the sleeping pads and the sleeping bags for some extra insulation. When it is very cold I also use a comforter over the sleeping bags. We wear warm clothes to sleep in, including a beanie. Hand warmers in our ozark trail sun shelter socks and body warmers in our shirts are helpful as well. Our sleeping bags zip together, allowing us to take advantage of the shared body heat. Pairing these strategies together made it reasonably comfortable at that temperature.

The zipper broke on my warm weather bag on the second night out. Too bad too because overall I’ve had good luck with Ozark Trail stuff. Too bad the buyer at Walmart has gone to sleep on quality control on this product. This Ozark Trail sleeping bag is great for camping trips.
