I LOVE the room first of all , and the looks were very eye pleasing too. We set the tent up in the yard, only took us about 15min. I have the JW-7607 which is a 2-3 (read that as two) person tent. It has held up to kids camping in the living room and back yard, many camping trips to desert / forest / lake environments and even survived a bear “attack” with only a small tear. Let me just tell you this, it doesn’t make a difference what model your tent is.
I find this a better option, so when you are sitting here you do not have to be concerned about what chairs’ legs might do to the floor. Also when you are cooking in this area (and you will have to if the weather is not so great), you really don’t need a floor, ozark trail chair it would become dirty very quickly. So this is a pleasant tent, designed for warm weather and summer camping.

Light wind and rain should be fine, but you’ll want to take some steps to prepare for both (more on that below). The Ozark Trail Yurt gets high marks for its overall interior space with 169 square feet of floor room and ceilings over 7 feet tall at their peak. That’s plenty of room for two queen mattresses with room left over for some chairs, a cooler, and a camp table. The table includes four large hanging mesh pockets at its sides, which, along with the multiple pockets found along the walls of the Ozark Trail Yurt, make storage and organization another high point of the tent. Layout wise is virtually identical to the Core Instant Cabin we evaluated for our 10 person tent roundup, but delivers those same massive interior dimensions for about $100 less.

The mesh doesn’t exactly feel soft and silky, and I’m pretty sure it’s not no-see-um mesh, though it’ll keep the bigger bugs out. I also found a bunch of loose threads on the floor when I first got into the tent, and excess material on some parts. For weather resistance, I looked at rain and wind protection. For ventilation, this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has a lot of mesh on the roof of the tent. There’s also 1 lantern loop at the very top of the tent for some lighting at night.
My other tents with similar designs did not have this serious of a snagging problem. Also, a rear window accessed from the outside can be staked out into a small awning that protects the tent’s interior if you need a little extra air when it’s raining. The front door runs nearly the tent’s entire height, and an additional bug net door mirrors it exactly. If need be, one or both of these doors can be rolled back completely, converting the tent into an open-air structure that still keeps the bugs out. They do not provide any information about the fabric and its waterproofness rating. Though the seams are all factory sealed and the tent is waterproof.
