It does leak, the only way to stay perfectly dry is to drape your own tarp over the top under the rainfly to keep it in place. If you do not have a tarp then you will get wet. Upon initial set up in the backyard, I was very impressed. I have only bought Coleman tents in the past and have been very happy with them.

Rain fly is too big — it needs one side cut differently to allow to get in and out of the tent. It needs a little bit bigger bag for storage.
