Ozark Trail 14′ x 10′ 10-Person Instant Cabin Tent

In summary, this ozark trail canopy tent Tent with Built-in Cabin Lights comes with plenty of useful features, this is a pleasant and functional design suitable for summer camping. The Coleman tent is an instant setup design but it is also a dark-rest tent. Seasons-wise & climate-wise, I see it best suited for summer camping without much rain and winds. This is a tall and boxy structure so it is best to use it in a quiet area.

This isn’t an instant tent, but ease of use is still a high point of this model thanks to the simple setup. Just slide the roof poles into place, then plug the side and corner poles into their designated hubs and raise it all up. Two people can get this cabin set up in about five minutes, but setting the 2 Room Cabin up solo isn’t out of the question either. Ozark Trail is all about big family camping tents on a budget, and few are as big and budget-friendly as the Ozark Trail 10 Person Two-Room Cabin. They do not provide any info about its waterproof rating, but this is a tent with a minimal fly that covers the ceiling only.

The Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent also comes with a room divider, so you can split the tent into 2 rooms, and each “room” can fit 2 queen-sized camping mattresses. If there’s no rain, you can unzip the windows for more ventilation, and there’s a bug net to prevent larger bugs from getting in. Trailspace’s community of gear reviewers has field-tested and rated the top warm weather tents. If you do not want to spend much and need a tent for occasional use, this is the item to consider. You realize this if you compare it with yet another lighted tent, the Big Agnes Titan 6 mtnGLO tent. The picture below shows the light on in one out of three modes, low, medium and high light.

This cabin-style tent features innovative Dark Rest technology that blocks sunlight, helping you stay cooler and sleep longer. Multiple skylights with interior ceiling panels allow you to customize light and can be rolled back for stargazing or for extra interior illumination. This Ozark Trail 20′ x 10′ Dark Rest Instant Cabin Tent features nine large windows for nice views of outdoors. Included removable room dividers allow you to create three separate living spaces. Tent comfortably fits four queen air beds or up to 12 campers in sleeping bags on floor. Keep yourself organized and connected with four pockets and electrical port access.

Also, I noticed that some water was already seeping through the blue fabric at the bottom of the tent, and the fabric is pretty much soaked. You can also leave the rainfly off, and stargaze at night when it’s not raining. For ventilation, this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has a lot of mesh on the roof of the tent.

The stitching especially around the doors and windows don’t seem that well done either, and I found a lot of excess threads as well. I don’t think this Ozark Trail 10-Person ozark trail instant cabin Tent will do very well against strong winds. Because there’s only 1 door in the entire tent, only 1 “room” will have the door, and the other “room” will only have windows.

The mesh doesn’t exactly feel soft and silky, and I’m pretty sure it’s not no-see-um mesh, though it’ll keep the bigger bugs out. I also found a bunch of loose threads on the floor when I first got into the tent, and excess material on some parts. There’s some space at the bottom that’s not covered, and also some space at the top that’s not covered by the divider. What I don’t quite like about this divider is that it’s sheer, so not completely opaque, and also, it’s not exactly full length. There are 2 windows along the length of the tent, and 1 window on the width of the tent.

Our favorite is the “storage locker” which gives you a protected place to store items like muddy shoes outside the tent, but can also be accessed from inside using a second zipper. It’s a great spot to stash your “middle of the night bathroom break” shoes and anything else you don’t want taking up space ozark trail shower tent inside the tent. Oddly enough, Ozark Trail’s most basic, base bones shelter takes the title of most durable. We chose the Ozark Trail Clip & Camp because unlike larger cabins with plastic hubs and countless poles, this traditional two-pole dome has the fewest number of parts that can potentially fail.

This is also a cabin style tent with straight but angled walls, though you do not have a stand-up height, the tent is with the peak height of 66 inches (168 cm). The dimensions and the shape are the same as in their Ozark Trail 6-Person Dark Rest Instant Cabin Tent. The one exception to the rule here is for the larger cabin-style tents, especially those with an “instant tent” design that uses pre-attached poles. Large dome tents are also an option, and although they’re a little less flashy, they have some perks of their own. First off, dome tents are typically less expensive since they have fewer total parts and less sophisticated frames.
