Ozark Trail 14-Person 4-Room Base Camp Tent With 4 Entrances

Certainly it’s not the best weather protection money can buy, but for summer campers and those will be avoiding bad storms, they will hold up just fine. Similar to easy setup, some tent brands are just flat-out better ozark trail tent at weather protection than others. But, sometimes you want privacy, and this tent offers great room options. The main room has a divider down the middle, and then there’s the pop-out room on the backside.

Choosing a tent is one of the most exciting parts of getting into camping. Imagine sleeping under the stars in your own cozy tent, smelling the trees and the wind while listening to the sounds of the night. Set up your tent (before your trip!) without the rainfly and follow the seam seal directions. Higher-grade tents come with or have a matching footprint that goes under the tent, which protects the floor and provides extra waterproofing. Sometimes you just can’t beat the price when it comes to an Ozark tent. You might be looking at tents as a first-time camper and feeling overwhelmed with the choices and different styles.

This tent was close to foolproof when it came to the rain fly because it was already connected. We were given one as a gift and the first time we went camping we where caught in a severe thunderstorm with torrent rail. When the kids got older the extra dome was used for storage. If you’re looking to save money but still want that cabin tent experience, the Ozark Trail 10-Person Two-Room Cabin is tough to beat.

Other items that you may want to keep at the foot of the sleeping area are also hard to access or reach if your head is near the door. For these styles, it seems most people want their head at the door side and so they have a constraint for which way the tent is set up if the ground is not flat. On the other hand, accessing the tent from the middle, or on the long side, gives one more degree of freedom.

Apart from the roof though, there’s not a lot of mesh from the 5 windows and the door, because they’re not very big. You can also leave the rainfly off, and stargaze ozark trail tent at night when it’s not raining. The door has 2 zippers for the bug net, and 2 for the door itself. The door can be zipped up from both the inside and outside.

We, like some others, know that tents are NOT waterproof, so we sprayed the seams etc. with water replant. When we reached the beach everything went great, first night 30 mh winds. Next night still calm, took cover off and loved looking up at the night sky. Over a hundred and seventy dollar completely fell apart on me and my daughter. I had to tape the tent together with military issue 100-mile-an-hour tape. The question I put to you are you making this material out of pewter or real metal.

The only issue with the pockets is they’re located along the sidewalls of the tent. If you should need to access anything during the night and aren’t next to your pocket, you’ll be reaching across quite a few bodies. In less than favorable conditions, the Ozark Trail 7 Person Teepee struggles to keep up, particularly when there’s a crowd. My best advice to deal with this is to try and set the tent up with the awning facing the wind. This will allow for a little more intentional airflow and help keep you dry from both the rain and accumulated internal moisture. On that note, I can imagine very few circumstances in which 7 people could comfortably share this tent.

So I would not put it to very serious tests in harsh weather conditions. This unique 1 person tent might be perfect for you if you don’t want to set up an entire tent for just yourself and your gear. It also comes with a removable rainfly (as do most Ozark tents) that rolls back on each side to provide extra ventilation. This tent can also fit 3 queen-sized air beds and has 2 removable room dividers so you’ll have plenty of flexibility when picking sleeping arrangements. That’s why I like Ozark Trail – their tents provide strong protection against wind, rain and sun across the board.

The stitching especially around the doors and windows don’t seem that well done either, and I found a lot of excess threads as well. I don’t think this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent will do very well against strong winds. This is a cabin tent, so the shape isn’t aerodynamic at all. Also, when it’s raining, there’s hardly any ventilation. There are no vents in this Ozark Trail 10-Person tent at all.

While this may be true in some cases, the price of a tent isn’t always a reflection of its performance. As you can see from the larger tents above, they come in all kinds of different arrangements. Tunnel tent, five room, L-shaped, the list goes on and on. Pick what kind of shape you want your tent in, Ozark Trails will have it. Of course, like every Ozark Trail tent, it comes with electrical ports so you can charge your phones at night.
