Ozark Trail 20-Person 4-Room Cabin Tent with 3 Separate Entrances for Camping

I’ve tried tents with the door on one end and it is cumbersome. For the end-door variants, one has to toss their sleeping bag down the tent when getting ready for bed. Other items that you may want to keep at the foot of the sleeping area are also hard to access or reach if your head is ozark trail tent near the door. For these styles, it seems most people want their head at the door side and so they have a constraint for which way the tent is set up if the ground is not flat. On the other hand, accessing the tent from the middle, or on the long side, gives one more degree of freedom.

Just like the above option, there’s string lights, a mud mat, an e-port (for easy electrical cord access) and rolling storage duffel for additional convenience. I actually even packed up one of my Coleman tents while it was still wet, and when I took it out a few months later, there was no mold or anything on it. And also, there was this sort of inconsistent mesh ozark trail canopy in 2 places around the tent. My Coleman tents at least had a zip down the middle of the divider. For the inside of the tent, when I was setting up my Ozark Trail room divider, I realized that the divider doesn’t even have a zip down the middle, for access into the other room. In contrast, my Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has only 1 door at the front of the tent.

Center the poles so that the tent resembles a spider’s web. Overall, it could have been roomier, but the weight savings were attractive to me with only one spar instead of two. Furthermore, I didn’t plan on being in the tent other than during the nights, so a roomier but heavier 1-person tent wasn’t desirable. The weather was going to be great and the hammock was where I wanted to be during the restful moments of the day. Some 1-person tents will have two major spars or spines that cross for the main support structure. In the Ozark Trail tent, it has only one spar traveling down the center lengthwise with a single rib to open up the area in the middle.

I guess if you have kids that want to play in it, it would be fine. The first one I set up was in the fall (supposed to be a 3-season). It snowed a few inches and it completely caved in breaking all the shock-corded fiber glass poles.

It doesn’t feel like they just slapped some room dividers into the tent. With the large welcoming door you enter a huge 14′ x 10′ tent giving you 140 sq ft of living space. But even better, because you just pitched it in 2 minutes flat. It’s also got a center height of 7′ and has a T-style door on one side. Although they’re a little harder to use, they allow you to move bigger furniture in and out of the tent easily. Ozark Trail makes some of the best instant tents around, and certainly one of the most affordable.

You might get a little bit of ventilation through the gap between the ceiling mesh and the rainfly, but I think it’s pretty minimal. When I first set up this tent I was surprised how HUGE it was. After reading the reviews here, I decided to seal the entire ozark trail tent tent with Grangers Fabsil. The tent fabric was such that it only took about three pints to cover the tent and fly sheet. I also sealed the two floor seams with a seam sealant. The fly sheet has taped seams, but none of the inner seams are taped.

While Ozark Trail tents are one of the least expensive family camping tents on the market, the waterproofing isn’t the best, the features, quality and lifespan of these tents aren’t that great. And for Coleman tents, they’re a little pricier than Ozark Trail tents, but you get better waterproofing, better features, and a better quality tent all around. This 11 person instant cabin tent is an excellent option for those who want a tent that’s less like a hallway and more like a big room. The main area is huge, giving you and the family plenty of room to enjoy each other’s company.

All Ozark Trail poles are either steel alloy or fiberglass, and the fabrics used throughout the tent are typically on the thinner side. Again, not a deal-breaker, but don’t expect these tents to stand up to the same use and abuse as their premium alternatives from brands. Despite what you may have read, you can absolutely enjoy an outdoors experience in an Ozark Trail tent.
