Coleman 16-Can Cooler with Removable Liner

In the summertime, when the weather is hot, nothing quenches like an ice-cold beverage, so it’s crucial to find the best cooler for your outdoor activities. With over a century in business, Coleman is one of the premier cooler brands on the market, headquartered in Chicago with an array of “Made in the USA” products. Whether you need a small soft cooler for day trips or a large hard cooler for camping, Coleman’s got you covered.

For our money, the Coleman Xtreme 5 cooler is the best of the best due to its size and cooling capabilities, but there are plenty of great models for every need. This cooler is designed to easily store and transport your cold food and drinks. Capacity allows storage of up to 80 cans, and the fully-insulated design can hold ice up to 3 days in 90 degree temperatures. Molded-in cup holders keep your drinks close and prevent spills. This ice chest has a recessed lip on the lid for easier access to contents.

There are coolers fit to take on a day trip to the beach with the family, on a fishing excursion, hosting a small backyard party or even handing out cold cans to the neighborhood at a block party. Unlike the feature-filled frivolity of a few of the other elaborate coolers we tested, the Coleman Xtreme doesn’t offer too much beyond the necessary. It does have several beverage holders molded into the lid, as well as measurements running across the top so you can easily check to see if your catch is a keeper. Importantly, this cooler also comes with a leash attachment for the drain plug – it’s one of the few in this review that does. Though it doesn’t have the IGBC certification that so many others we tested do, the Coleman can serve as a seat. It’s the only cooler we tested that has an actual weight limit listed for it lb.

The costs of shipping will be shown on the quotation. All shipping times are dependent upon print proof approval. The average shipping time varies depending on location. When coleman cooler I say “buy literally anything else,” I mean it. Even the cheap, disposable Styrofoam cooler we tested did better. These are the best coolers you can buy this summer.

Higher-end coolers cost in the range of $80-$150, while the marine model is much more expensive. Soft coolers are available as low as $20 and as high as $70-$80. Many Coleman hard coolers are recognizable with their bright blue bodies and white lids, though there are other colors available. Coleman soft coolers come in various shades, from drab green to red, black and silver. Coleman makes coolers available in every size you could need, from as large as 120 quarts of packing capacity to as small as a 5-quart personal cooler and a wide range in between.

And thanks to its comfortable, no-crush handle grips, this portable cooler is easy to carry and minimizes strain and pinching on your hands. Coleman coolers are typically either hard-shelled and soft-lined. Coleman makes hard coolers large and small, whereas its soft coolers are smaller and more suited for outdoor adventures. The soft coolers are also fitted with additional storage pockets for dry items and straps or handles for easy portability. On the other hand, many Coleman hard coolers come with molded cup holders in the lid, and several models are built with a “Have a Seat” lid with a 250-pound weight capacity.

At $399, the Rovr Rollr 60 was the most expensive cooler that we tested, but when you consider the build, the price makes a little more sense. Not only is it rotomolded, but it also comes with a rugged set of 9-inch inflatable rubber wheels, plus an aluminum axle and handlebar. It’s basically a tank that’s made to go anywhere you want to take it (you can even hitch it behind your bike). The comparable wheeled Yeti model is just as expensive, and a Bison with a wheeled cart accessory will cost a total of $460, so don’t rule Rovr out if you lead an active outdoor lifestyle. Ensure your clients can stay hydrated with cool drinks when you advertise with this cooler package!

I just wish it cost a little less, since you’ll get better performance from the slightly less expensive Yeti and Orca coolers. If you’re willing to spend a little more, you might consider upgrading to the 55-quart Lifetime High Performance Cooler, which I found on sale at Walmart coleman cooler for $97. In fact, I’d recommend that you strongly consider it. Why every cooler doesn’t come with a built-in bottle opener is beyond me, but kudos to Lifetime for making it happen. Coleman hard coolers come as low as $14, with plenty of solid models running between $25-$75.
