Ozark trail screen house instructions

The screen is great for nice weather. It gives great shade and it keeps flies out. We used it to put it over a little swimming pool for our children and it works great. I called to get a replacement and the customer service person I talked to was awesome!

I could not even get the top frame together with out it either bending the poles or coming apart. The screen tent came with missing and broken parts. Their solution was for me to pay for replacements ozark trail chairs out of pocket. No apology, no offer for a resolution. The product is garbage and the customer service is worse. This is totaly wrong that a company doesn’t keep parts in stock.

Sadly it blew over over in a storm last night breaking two corner pieces and the middle X broke. We are looking for these pieces if anyone wants to sell. We have a love-hate relationship with this screen tent.

Insert the leg poles into the hubs to raise the screen house frame. Make sure that the pole end with the holes in the sides ( ) is pointing down. It is of poor design, in that this could be avoided using 2 more yellow, curved roof poles which would not allow the rain to puddle on the roof. My husband and I were in the screen room, keeping the rain from puddling for more than a half hour. We will not replace the 3-way hubs again. The campground received a moderate rain on the second night and the roof collected water in several places, causing the screen house to collapse.

Without instructions, it took me about 30 minutes to put it together and get it erected, by myself. Just had to comment after reading these old reviews of folks who couldn’t seem to set it up without either A. The Ozark Trail Screen House is 13 feet long and nine feet wide, with a standing space that tops out at seven feet high. The tent fabric roof provides shade for 46 square feet of the room. The Screen House is spacious enough for six people, or more around a folding table in an uninterrupted 360-degree panoramic shelter. This model has been discontinued and I only need two parts to fix it.

She guided me through until I was able to find the correct serial number for the part and sent it to me right away. We bought this screen house at an auction for $5. Great for our buffet line for family camping.

This was not a heavy rain by any means as no other shelters or tents collapsed. The weight of the water actually bent several poles on the roof and one leg. This probably could have been prevented by adding more yellow support poles to the roof.

I was wondering if anyone out there can e-mail me the manual. Step 1 – Lay Out the Screenhouse and PolesSelect a smooth, level site and spread out your screen house. Sort the poles by number and connect the sections together. One mad idea often begets another, and that is how this $34.95 purchase came about.

With two more roof poles, I’m sure this could be prevented. My experience with Ozark Trail equipment has been to reinforce the old adage “you get what you pay for”. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good screen house spend the additional money and get a Swiss Gear. Don’t try to save a few dollars and end up with a POS like this one. After setting it up, it seems to me folks just don’t know how to exercise a little common sense and patience.

But, with determined hope, I began to wade through the instructions. Now and then I walk into a store, it tends to be named ozark trail chairs ___Mart, and buy something I know is going to bring nothing but grief and heartbreak. Yes, I know it will, so what gives?
