We finally got around to buying one and got to work answering the two questions that were front of mind. First, was the CleanView Swivel Pet’s ultra-low price the only reason this upright is so popular, or does it hold its own against other upright vacuums we have tested? Second, we wanted to see if there were any obvious problems with it and who, if anyone, should consider buying one. Thanks to swivel steering, the vacuum is a breeze to navigate around furniture and corners.
The wand stays attached to the upright vacuum, but does add some reach while feeling more like a handheld vacuum with a hose. The lightweight vacuum has a run time of 17 minutes, which should be enough for most small messes. And although the vacuum is small, it has a generous dust bin, so there’s no need to keep stopping to empty it. Convenient accessories for this handheld vacuum include a motorized brush tool, upholstery tool and crevice tool. One of the reasons we think people like the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet is that it has a lot of features that upright vacuums in this price range usually don’t have. The CleanView Swivel Pet did a good job on hard floors, picking up all sizes of debris without adjusting the vacuum height.
However, it struggles a bit more to clean hair as well as debris on bare floors, and it doesn’t have a long range either, which can make it a little bit more difficult to clean stairs. It’s also somewhat difficult to maintain and there are frequent recurring costs, depending on how often you use your vacuum. The Shark APEX Upright is a better upright vacuum for cleaning bare floors than the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Turbo. If you have mostly hardwood, tile, or laminate in your home, the Shark can easily clean all pet hair and debris, whether large or small, from these floors. It also has a slightly higher range, a larger dirt compartment, and its recurring costs are less overall. You can even turn it into a handheld vacuum, which is good if you want to clean your car.
Its controls are simple to use and emptying the dust cup is easy too. Plus, its small size means you can stash it away in your closet or cupboard without taking up too much space. Just keep in mind that similar models have been rated as noisy in Lab tests. The bissell pet vacuum tanks need to be switched when going from vacuuming to wet mopping, but they are easy to remove and empty when your robot is done cleaning. The SpinWave’s microfiber mopping pads are machine-washable, and we found the brush roll easy to remove and clean.
After you choose the surface type, simply push the head of the vacuum down with your foot and start your cleaning session. While none of the debris types was cleaned up at a level of 100%, the cereal was the worst performer, only being cleaned up at a level of 57%. Depending on the surface being vacuumed, users have the ability to select one of five different floor types. Additionally, the nozzle of the vacuum is 12″ wide and the dust bin can hold a total of 1.5L of debris. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser upright vacuum utilizes somewhat of a standard upright design.
The RoboVac 11S Max comes equipped with high-end features all for under $250 — which is why we named it the best value robot vacuum. While we haven’t tested this specific model in our Lab yet, we have tested other Eufy vacuums like the RoboVac 15 Max and find bissell crosswave cordless the brand’s products receive top scores. The 11S Max may be the most inexpensive Eufy robot vacuum, but that doesn’t mean you’re compromising when it comes to cleaning pet hair. Once you recline the vacuum, you need only press a button to begin vacuuming.
Just keep in mind that this model is corded and doesn’t feature automatic cord rewind. Whether you’ve got a perpetually shedding husky or a short-hair breed, this powerful, feature-packed upright vacuum for pet owners will help keep your floors fur-free. The BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Turbo has an only acceptable build quality. It’s made from mostly hard plastic, except for its metal wand, but it could feel more sturdy, especially compared to some other BISSELL vacuums like the BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro.
