The one complaint we have is that there is no vents in the fabric at the peak to release the build up of hot air under the canopy. Most new tents incorporate this ventilated canopy design to increase airflow and reduce the trapping of hot air, helping to keep those in the shade cooler and more comfortable. It’s worth highlighting that despite the advertised dimensions of the 10×10 Ozark Trail, because this is a slant leg shelter the top only measures 8×8.
This pop-out room is great to use as a kid’s play area, a gear storage “garage,” or just an adults-only sleeping room. This tent’s distinctive dome form provides extra room for the head while taking up less space overall. The legs are locked into place with old school metal push button locks, something you won’t see on many modern pop up tents now-a-days. These push locks get very difficult to use over time, especially if the tent is used on the beach and exposed to sand and saltwater, causing rust build up.
That’s why I like Ozark Trail – their ozark trail chair tents provide strong protection against wind, rain and sun across the board. Certainly it’s not the best weather protection money can buy, ozark trail backpack but for summer campers and those will be avoiding bad storms, they will hold up just fine. If they get it right with one tent, it’s likely all of their tents have great weather protection.

With this tent, you won’t directly touch the grass or mud, and the built-in floor keeps insects at bay. Additionally, an E-Port in the media pocket makes it simple to charge your electronics.
