We’d always advise going to your local Genesis dealer, where they can see the bike and diagnose any technical or mechanical issues that you’re having with your bike. If you have a warranty claim, they can handle that too.

Genesis bikes became renowned for their use of steel tubing and ethos for function over form. The first Genesis bike was produced under the Ridgeback brand as the Day One model genesis bicycles in 2001. Due to its popularity, Genesis became a label in its own right in 2006. With so many different variables this is an impossible question for us to answer properly!

Capable on and off road, it was a gentle step away from our original Vapour and towards a bike that was intended to go further… but we never imagined quite how much further. At the time, we weren’t sure if people would get it, so we hedged slightly, labelling it as a cross bike in the truest sense of the word. This variable speed throttle was designed to be easy on the wrists, and even easier to operate.
