for Ozark Trail 10′ X 20′ Straight Leg Instant Canopy Adjustable Leg R

After our longtime top-pick tent for two people ran into some stock issues in 2021, we researched new models and redesigns, and we assembled a batch of small tents for testing in March 2022, on Oahu. During this period, winds rose up to 35 to 40 knots, and we experienced passing showers as well as direct sunlight and 80-degree temperatures. To mimic heavier rain and to test the tent’s ability to withstand soggy ground conditions, we also soaked our tents with a garden hose. A few weeks later, we brought the front-runners to a platform in an area that had higher elevation, near the Waianae Mountain Range, and camped out overnight in intermittent but consistent rainfall.

This tent was a “blue light special” at KMart many years ago (maybe 20+ years). It’s been a good tent overall other than the closet pole broke (but I’m replacing it through the manufacturer). If you’re using a larger canopy, such as the Ozark Grand Gazebo, you can easily assemble it by following the color-coding of each component, such as each leg pole being red, the eaves pink, the ridge blue and so on.

I will never buy an Ozark Trail tent in my life and I will tell everyone I know that if they buy one what to expect. And that is you will never be dry in one because they suck bad. Only complaint was the zipper hangs on the front door ozark trail chair flap, destroyed flap and zipper. They claim they are weather tested, but I feel they don’t include rain or wind as elements of the weather. Thank you OZARK for making camping nights with small children just a little more difficult!!!!

She covers outdoor gear for Wirecutter and worked on the most recent update of this guide, testing couples’ tents and family tents. Easy to set up and pack away, the Mineral King 3 is a lightweight, ozark trail canopy two-door tent with a generous footprint and a sturdy dome shape. It’s the perfect choice for three-season multipurpose camping. I like the style and the tent looked nice for the hour it was up!

I took it back and spent an additional 26 dollars buying a coleman 31 x 11 hopefully this one will last. I am preparing for a camping trip of 10 days and nights down in Florida where it rains a lot and the wind sometimes is pretty strong so I am wondering if the fly will stay put. There is a large space between it and the top of the tent that might be a trap for strong wind so the fly gets ripped off.

The poles broke the first night on top caving the tent in. I feel bad that so many of you are having trouble with this tent. I have not had any trouble at all but we did lose the rain fly to ours (well, our son lost it!). I cant find replecement parts for this tent anywhere…only the poles (which I now understand after reading all the problems you all have had with the poles…maybe mine will go soon as well!. I just purchased this tent less than a week ago from Walmart to take a few days off to go fishing.
