The Hyper MTB Ebike offers pedal assistance, which means you will be an active participant in your ride. This was one of the only things that I was skeptical about when purchasing the Hyper MTB Ebike. I had not used a pedal assist Ebike and so I wasn’t sure just how much effort would be required from me as the rider. It’s not that I am a lazy person, it’s more hyper mountain bike that I was considering how I planned to use this bike.

The Hyper Havoc FS mountain bike is 26″ in size, it is a 21 speed mountain hyper mountain bike bike, with Shimono gear shifters. It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so. The Back tire isn’t fitted in place correctly and is slightly too high up on the rear tire axle shaft.

Vital didn’t seem to like it, but I swear mine (granted, unlocked, no top speed cap either) is within a breath of being as powerful as a Shimano. I don’t know how accurate the display is, but in B mode I can get it to output a reported 580 watts until the battery hits 20%. None the less, the integrated display is a cool concept, but this design is a bit bulky. My bf got mad at me for buying it, cuz he wanted to get him something else.

That’s how bikes end up with a front disc brake and a rear rim brake. Most people don’t ride on mountain bike trails, so make sure you avoid bikes with features you don’t need. The next problem is that the bike seat is hard and uncomfortable, if you only ride short distances it isn’t a problem, but if you do between 2 through 5 miles you will start to feel it.

Pull the brake pads out the way if you need to and slide the fork onto the tire. Be careful removing the bike because the box has sharp staples holding it together. Some people recommend using pliers to remove the staples first, but I found it easier to just carefully pull the bike free; do which ever method works best for you. If your handlebars are tangled, proceed to rotate them around either clockwise or counter-clockwise to untangle them. Sadly I cannot give further instructions because it depends on how the handlebars tangle, but if you carefully look it over you should be able to follow the wires to straighten it all out. I don’t do many reviews but these bikes are so good, I just had to!

Adjust the front brake pads by pulling the silver wire tight and holding it in place, then tighten the screw back up- You may need an extra pair of hands to do it correctly. You can tighten the tire’s nuts and the front brake’s cap by using an adjustable wrench. Make sure everything is assembled correctly and tightened up.

In my mind, I was envisioning a cold November evening having hunted all day and facing a ride back to camp with all of my gear. One feature about the Hyper MTB Ebike that I really like is that the battery is removable. I think Apple started us down a path of non-removable batteries that a lot of electronics manufacturers have adopted but, the trouble with that is that it isn’t user friendly. With the Hyper MTB Ebike, you can charge your bike with the battery installed or removed, which I personally love.

It’s easy to get lulled into buying the flashy mountain-styled bikes hyper mountain bike on store shelves. They always have eye-catching paint jobs, and some are full suspension — all for cheap. But on a mountain bike, weight can really drag down the enjoyment.
