As I said at the beginning of this post, we have been using this vacuum for a solid 6 months. I have also used it on wood floors, tile, and to vacuum bissell pet vacuum my van. It is exactly what I wanted and works exactly the way I thought it would (minus the part about not being able to stand on its own).
