Wyze provides a 3-in-1 remote control for controlling the thermostat remotely. You can also control a Humidifier or a Dehumidifier with either of these devices. Even though Nest Thermostat doesn’t have an AI learning feature similar to its bigger brother, the Nest learning thermostat, Wyze did promise an AI learning feature for its Thermostat. Fortunately, Wyze does offer many other incredible features with the wyze security camera.

The auto comfort mode uses the device’s motion sensor to determine which rooms you are using and then averages the temperature readings among them. It then communicates with the thermostat over Bluetooth to tell your heating / cooling system to adjust to that temperature. You can use other settings to create heating and cooling schedules; set Home, Away, and Sleep Temperature Preferences; and enable the Auto-Switch (geofencing) feature.

One, if you already have a Wyze security system or other Wyze Labs products, the Wyze smart thermostat will enhance your home automation. Two, unlike many programmable thermostats, Wyze is under $100. Three, the thermostat design and installation are super simple.

It’s easy to adjust the thermostat and set heating and cooling schedules in the app. It also responded to my voice commands via an Echo Show 8 smart display.
