One use of this “so-called” tent and it’s going back to Wal-Mart. I guess I need to quit buying your products cos’ your queen elevated blow up bed also leaked air the first nite. This would have been especially bad and expensive having occurred during a medieval re-enactment event. Well, I’m not sure what to do I’ll start looking for a used waterproof tent. I’m 64 and so far am able to set the tent up myself despite limited mobility and arthritis. Now I have a functioning canopy and all it really took is about 5 hours of time including the print time. I tried to find this part to buy and couldn’t locate it, so I made it, right here in my own house and that is the best thing about 3d printing.
With this model, you receive a free carry bag with wheels for easier transport, and 4 stakes and ropes to tie and secure it down. It can stand on its own, but we always recommend that you lock it down, so it has no chance of blowing away. It does specifically say in the instructions that the tent should be treated along the seams with waterproofing, by the way. Tent even did OK on some colder nights about 40 degrees with a small electric heater. Condensation / moisture was an issue due to thin material but it’s not a 4-season tent so I can’t complain.
No problems, even breaking camp next morning went smoothly.
