A flowing creek off to the right feeds into a large pond to the left of the green with additional cascading falls and a bunker beyond the hole. This par 4 angles to the right beyond the right-side fairway bunker. Hug your tee shot as close to that bunker as possible for the best approach into the green. A miss left of the green will create a challenging up-and-down.
Hitting driver could give you a great look at birdie, but it will also bring the bunkers short of the green into play. The wide fairway offers plenty of room for a safe layup shot and easy short iron or wedge into the green. To the west, the Mississippi Sanctuary trails offer a hike past the smaller Creek Trek waterfall and to a scenic spot overlooking the river. This trail is (fittingly) the rockiest of the park’s six options, with several steep climbs, as well as scenic rock outcroppings and a spring along the way. For a considerably longer hike, consider taking the 10-mile Green Rock Trail to Greensfelder County Park and Rockwoods Range, where you can explore even more trails. The Lewis Trail is an 8.3-mile loop, or you can take the Clark Trail cutoff for a shorter jaunt of 5.3 miles.

Staying left gives you a shorter distance to the hole, but the right side of the fairway gives you an elevated look to the green without having to carry the greenside bunkers on your approach. It may be intimidating from the tee box, but the large green provides plenty of landing space with additional room right of the green for a safe miss. Avoid the left side to stay out of the heavy rough, deep bunker, and the lake. Split the bunkers on your tee shot at the 11th, but favoring the right side will give you the best look at the green.
On your approach shot, a well-positioned bunker protects the right side of the green. Take in the views of the Ozark Mountains on this long downhill par 4. Keep your tee shot left to avoid the large bunker along the right side of the fairways. This green slopes away from left to right with multiple bunkers short of the green.
