Ozark Trail 11 Person 3 Room Instant Cabin Tent With Private Room

If you’re looking to save money but still want that cabin tent experience, the Ozark Trail 10-Person Two-Room Cabin is tough to beat. If you’re willing to spend a few extra bucks (emphasis on few), the Ozark Trail 9-Person Cabin with a screen room gives some added livability at a similar price point. The easiest models to pitch are pretty much always “instant tent” shelters, which use a system of preattached poles than only need to be unfolded and locked into place. With that being said, we have yet to see an Ozark Trail tent that’s actually “difficult” to set up, so there’s no reason to limit your search to “instant-only” if you don’t mind putting your own poles together.

The big appeal of this tent is its very easy set up, but that comes at the cost of massive size. Each of the cabin’s three rooms includes its own privacy divider, and each is large enough to fit a queen-sized mattress as well, so it’s a great option for large groups or families. Other perks of the Three Room Instant Cabin include an instant tent design with pre-attached poles for easy set-up and dual ground-level vents designed to work with a tent air conditioner.

The back room is without its own external door, but there is a window on the back, see the picture. This is why I have added this tent to my list of camping tents with closets. The tent includes 3 rooms, so you have the main cabin with a removable divider, plus an unusual addition attached to the rear side of the main cabin body. Ozark Trail is all about big family camping tents on a budget, and few are as big and budget-friendly as the Ozark Trail 10 Person Two-Room Cabin.

They will also have a rainfly, which helps when you experience unexpected bouts of rain. She also suggests looking for a family tent that offers good internal storage, like pockets and ceiling loops for water bottles, lanterns and the like. The packed size is typical for the instant tents, and one dimension is relatively long, 48 x 10 x 10 in (122 x 25 x 25 cm).

After I ordered the product at Walmart.com, I went to the store to pay cash. I received two queen air mattress on time but did not receive the tent till well over time estimated delivery. The rest of the tent uses a low to high system, with staked out ground vents on the side of the tent allowing fresh air to enter, while the myriad of mesh windows and ceiling panels expel it. The adjustable nature of the low vents and zip-up windows allow you to fine-tune the airflow to your liking. Drawing the eye of family campers as extra storage space, or shelter from rain/sun is paramount when camping with children.

The divider is a curtain which attaches to the ceiling and the walls by toggles, see the picture below, so it gives a minimal privacy. If you do not need it closed, you can fix its wall to the cabin walls on the side, see the picture below. The three-room cabin is definitely one of Ozark Trail’s more expensive models though, so if you’re shopping on a budget, there are plenty of other models worth considering. The Clip & Camp dome is particularly affordable, and also happens to be one of the most dependable models the brand currently makes. Livability describes the overall day-to-day experience of owning and using a tent, and tents that are more comfortable, convenient, and easy to use score the highest in terms of livability. For those that only want one bedroom, you can use the second room for eating, lounging, gaming, or storage. The legs and frame come attached to the tent’s canopy, telescoping out to prop it up. You then secure the corners and guy lines to the ground with the provided stakes. The instant, pre-assembled nature of this model makes it very attractive for a few reasons.

Note, it is already pre-attached to the main cabin part, so you can simply roll it as much as you can and keep close to the cabin wall. From the text above you already have the idea about the inner area, so you have two rooms in the main cabin separated by the removable divider, and a private room as an extension. There are two entry doors, so the divider attaches in the middle between them, and in such a case, every room in the cabin part has its own door.

Interior storage is a great example, as all those little mesh pockets help keep things organized and off the floor. Screen rooms, shade awnings, storage vestibules, and privacy dividers are also great examples of livability-added features. These features all work ozark trail instant cabin together to make a tent feel more like your home away from home and less like a makeshift shelter in the woods. The one exception to the rule here is for the larger cabin-style tents, especially those with an “instant tent” design that uses pre-attached poles.

With a lot of flexibility, and a center height of 7 feet, there is plenty of space for everyone no matter how you configure the tent. Cutting down setup time when you have minimal light to work with makes it extra convenient. Another situation where this instant style pays off is if you get to your campsite ozark trail canopy tent in the middle of a downpour, as you can trade of a minute or so in the rain for a quick shelter. The rain fly hangs over the room as well, so you can stay outdoors while it’s raining. Purchasing a large footprint for the entire size of the tent will provide a solid floor for keeping the screen room tidy.
