Good Design: The Ozark Trail 1-Person Backpacking Tent

This Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has only 2 pockets in the entire tent, and both measure about 13 inches in length and 6 inches in width, which is very tiny for such a huge tent. The door does have a bug net, but it’s only for half the door, and not the full door. Each window has 2 zippers, which are a little bit noisy, but are generally quite snag-free. Next, attach the 6 steel wall ozark trail camping chair poles to the elbow connectors (the top of each pole) and to the pin at the other end (the base of each pole). The 2 green pole sleeves are for the longer diagonal poles (with 9 fiberglass segments), and the 1 blue pole sleeve is the for the shorter pole (with 5 fiberglass segments). So I called the company requesting new poles and a month later I have yet to see my new poles.

The sheer size of these rooms makes them feel like real rooms in a house. Instead of simple divider curtains, each room is sectioned off with sewn-in walls. It’s made from steel, and the poles are telescoping which means that they ozark trail canopy extend and click into place. It seems unlikely to achieve such a fast installation with such a large structure, but the pre-attached frame makes it such a breeze. Even with this speedy setup, structural integrity isn’t compromised.

I have a design change suggestion but I do not see an email address anywhere; therefore I cannot submit it to someone who can do something about it. For all the reasons mentioned above, we’ve found that the Ozark Trail Three Room Instant Cabin is the best Ozark Trail tent overall. Its combination of a spacious floor plan, smart layout, and added livability all work together to make it the stand-out model in the Ozark Trail lineup.

A center height of 78 inches makes this a great choice for taller people, as any good cabin tent should. Ozark Trail makes tents of all sizes, but we’ve found larger family camping tents to be their forte. If you are looking for a lighter weight family tent that can hold up better to the elements, then the 8-person modified dome tent will make sense for you. With the versatility of 3 rooms, we love how well this tent would work in a group or family camping situation.

When you’re looking at what you want in a tent, consider how many people are going to be using it. If you’re going to use air mattresses, be sure it fits your size of mattress (most tents can fit a queen size air mattress). The Ozark Trail 1-Person Backpacking Tent is on the cheaper end of the spectrum. A variety of websites have it currently priced for less than $50. Many higher quality tents could cost 3 or 4 times that amount. Ozark Trail is a line of tents manufactured for retail sale in Walmart stores.

For these styles, it seems most people want their head at the door side and so they have a constraint for which way the tent is set up if the ground is not flat. On the other hand, accessing the tent from the middle, or on the long side, gives one more degree of freedom. Assuming a symmetrical tent, like the Ozark Trail, my head could be placed at either end and both options would feel equally comfortable. In fact, my particular tent spot wasn’t completely flat so I quickly rotated my sleeping bag so that my feet weren’t above my head all night. It was pretty easy to make adjustments from the side door access.

Or maybe a remote campground close to waterfalls and trails perfect for bird-watching? Missouri boasts a diverse and picturesque landscape, and its state park campgrounds offer an exceptional way to experience the state’s natural beauty. Whether you’re trying to beat the cold inside or outside your tent, the heater is easily carried by its handle and just big enough to provide relief for one or two people.
