Summary i would recommend only getting into the kent if you can work on bikes shop fees kill you and this bike will need lots of work. I have seen so many cool builds on this sub and wouldn’t fully say the kent is shit but just know you will have to upgrade it to get it to a good state. At the end of the day i could have spend the money i used on this to buy that bike that was slightly more.
I’m a believer in second chances, I hope you’ll make the most of this one. Most of the complaints mentioned were for shipping issues. They did not indicate that the KZ2600 suffered from a lack of overall quality. For example, a purchaser complained that he received a bent frame, and another purchase mentioned that pedals were missing.
