Reviews for OZARK TRAIL Ozark Trail 9-Person Instant Cabin Tent Camping Outdoors Family

Our kids love to ride bikes, to go on hikes, and even better… to go camping! We teamed up with Walmart and Ozark Trail this summer for yet another family adventure and have loved all they offer when it comes to camping. Guided by experts, we spend hours looking into the factors that matter, to bring you these selections. Any items not picked up by Monday, October 9th will be considered abandoned and no refunds will be given. The sun will be out for many hours and days, and its UV rays could wreak havoc on one’s skin. This dome-style tent has nearly vertical walls, high ceilings, and a single vestibule the size of an actual mudroom.

The assembled weight of this tent is 6.9 pounds, and it’s suitable for three seasons, excluding winter. This is a six-person instant cabin tent, featuring one large single room measuring 10′ x 9′. This tent features three windows and ceiling panels as well as a large door.

Has been rated for 300 pounds, but can hold more weight comfortably. Good design with a small pocket to place your cell phone or snacks near the cup holder. Sturdy arm rests and sits a little higher from the ground, making it a great choice for taller people. I also like that it has aluminum arms which are more supportive than the canvas ones usually found on these types of chairs. There’s a very nice drink holder (won’t hold your coffee cup, must be in an insulated tumbler) and a mesh pocket to hold your cell phone or other similar-sized item.

Although Core tents are slightly more expensive than Ozark Trail, they still remain as an affordable option. Furthermore, Core features many similar tents to Ozark Trail, such as the instant tents that come pre-assembled. However, Ozark Trail is a good option for people who go on short camping trips during the warmer months, and new campers might feel less inclined to buy expensive equipment. In this case, Ozark Trail is an excellent option due to its affordability and quality. Ozark Trail is a budget brand, so if you’re frequent campers or people who camp in rough terrain and extreme weather—you’d be better off with a more high-end option. The assembly is simple, and both tents come with all the steel stakes they need to be secured.

In fact, the service at our campsite was better then it is at my home in St. Louis County. We did not see anyone at all from the minute we left Rocky Falls until the minute we returned. Maybe no one else was stupid enough to go camping in these ozark trail camping temperatures but I’m ok with that. I envisioned utilizing our remote location in the wilderness to sit up and watch the stars. However, the constant buzzing insects and related exhaustion sent us into the tent shortly after nightfall.

The Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent has just 1 door, which is a D-shaped door, and it’s located somewhere along the length of the tent. The entire Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent takes about 10 minutes to set up, when my brother and I were setting it up together (2 people). Finally, attach all the pole clips, place the ozark trail canopy rainfly over the Ozark Trail tent, secure it, and stake out the entire tent. To set up the Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent, first slide the 3 fiberglass poles through the roof pole sleeves. For ease of use, I looked at how easily I could set up this Ozark Trail 10-Person Tent on my own, and with 2 people as well.

There are 2 room dividers and 4 doors to maximize privacy or create one large room. This is a 10-person cabin tent, featuring three rooms and measures a total of 20 by 10 by 6.5 feet. It can fit three queen-sized airbeds and has a center height of 78 inches. If you are looking for ozark trail camping lightweight options to reduce your load, this is not the brand for you. Ozark Trail can maintain its affordability by using heavier, cheaper fabrics. In the realm of outdoor gear, especially with items like sleeping bags and tents, the higher the price tag, the lighter the weight.
