For an off road test I took the Hyper MTB Ebike to a local park wth 14 miles of easy – difficult trails. With the bike on the Medium setting, I was able to make it all the way through with the trail system with a little bit left in the tank. Overall I would have to say I am not only happy with the performance but also happy to see the product description live up to it’s real world use. I have to say that I was far less skeptical of a pedal assist Ebike after breaking this out and taking it for a ride.
I have tightened it a few times and it now finally stays in place, but it can be dangerous when it randomly slides over while riding. It has a dual steel suspension frame (front fork shocks and strut on the frame located under the seat area) that provides a comfortable ride for the 26′ Hyper Shocker Bike, even on off-road surfaces. Speech wheels, resin platform pedals, and a rear derailleur are other elements of this hyper bicycles. In terms of the 20 mile claim, we were able to easily accomplish this in city streets with minimal inclines.
The bike is easy to ride as long as you adjust the seat, oil the chain, and keep the bike maintained, you shouldn’t have too many problems with it straight out the box. It is well assembled (for the most part) and I don’t think the bike will break or disassemble on me while I ride it. It is an aluminum frame and the tag that was attached to the bike says that it can hold about 275 lbs or so. I was a bit surprised by this because the manufacturer should have sent us the part since the bike was just ordered brand new and we had the order number and receipt. Most products have at least a 30 day warranty that covers basic damage or defects, and the seat not having the adjustable quick release lever for the is clearly a manufacturing defect because it was missing a key component to building and riding the bike, without it you literally cannot sit down to ride the bike.
The wrench built into my multi-tool is made for tires, so it is slightly too large to fit and adjust the handlebars because they used another type of bolt like screw for it. This is a minor problem because I just added a wrench to my backpack repair kit and moved along. Any off-road surface will grip the knobby tires to give you a safe and secure ride, but still provide a smooth, effortless ride on paved surfaces. One feature about the Hyper MTB Ebike that I really like is that the battery is removable. I think Apple started us down a path of non-removable batteries that a lot of electronics manufacturers have adopted but, the trouble with that is that it isn’t user friendly. With the Hyper MTB Ebike, you can charge your bike with the battery installed or removed, which I personally love.

I weigh 190lbs and on a straight road, I get up to 19mph which is way faster then what I need. I go so many places on this bike that I would have never gone to if I had to do all the peddling. I can move thru the orange groves around here so much easier then before. This bike is quiet, so I have been able to get close to some of the wildlife roaming in these parts, (wild hogs, turkeys,etc.).
