The stock seat was very narrow and hard. That is the seat I bought to replace the stock torture device. The new seat is about 13.5″ inches wide and the horn is a lot shorter. It is a lot more comfortable. As far as I can tell, the Malus and Dolomite are essentially the same bike, just with different rims and colors.
Maybe even a better bar (slight riser) or a shorter stem. At 1.77m I’d think you’d be better suited to a medium frame. If it’s used you may need to spend a bit of cash getting it fixed up, but it’ll last far longer and be a much better ride. There is a low level shimano hydraulic disc brake kit that is SO NICE compared to the cable disc brakes. I did it to both of the maluses. He did a good video recently on some more budget parts (including hydraulic disc brakes) as well as he has been playing with a Walmart MTB recently. I bought 2 mongoose malus’ses. Got 2 for the wife and myself.
