I don’t make it a habit of buying my gear from Walmart, but this was a excellent purchase. I use this pack on a daily basis to carry my office clothes while I ride my bike to work and to carry light loads while out Geocaching. I can’t think of a reason not to give it 5 stars. I priced other internal frame daypacks before my trip and this was by far the cheapest. I took this pack on a 5-day mountain bike ride from Pittsburgh, Pa., to Washington, D.C., and it performed very well.

On the 35-liter pack there are plenty of options for storage with a top zippered accessory pocket with a tricot-lined pocket inside for sunglasses or other important items. The larger pack also features side accessory pockets for extra storage and an ultra-padded back panel and waist belt for added comfort. There are also bottom compression straps for camp pads or other items. Other features include a rainfly and reflective accents for safety when hiking and the red recycled polyester fabric material is a perfect unisex backpacking option. I carried this daypack back n forth on a trail to the shower while camping.

Shoulder straps are lightweight mesh-lined with very little padding. Ultimately, the good design for this product was that it was sized right for what I needed, both in dimensions and weight. Not too small, but not too large (and thus wasteful) – a Goldilocks design. After all, I had to be sensitive to weight as we were required to carry our own water for ozark trail backpack 10 miles as there were no options for filtering during that stretch. Usually I share a 2- or 3-person tent when backpacking with others to split up the weight, but as mentioned we each needed to be self-contained so I brought my 1-person tent from Ozark Trail. Make sure to let a friend or family member know what you’re doing and where you’re going.
