That’s as true for camp chairs as it is for recliners and the like. Where camp chairs are concerned, most of them top out at around 300 pounds of supported weight. That works for the majority of the market, but if you happen to be heavier than that, you’ll find that pickings can be slim. Most of our testers found the REI Co-op Skyward Chair to be one of the least comfortable chairs in our testing pool.

The construction of the Comfort Chair is very solid and robust and this is reflected in the weight of the chair. Great for trips to the park, camping, outdoor sporting events, gardening, grocery shopping and much more! The accordion style floor makes set up and break down a breeze. There’s also a mesh pocket behind the backrest, to hold things you don’t need to access quickly.
But this isn’t the chair you’ll want to spend most of the day in. We blame the crossbar design, which runs front to back rather than side to side; this creates a lot of wobble from right to left, especially if the chair is not on perfectly even ground. The Chair One has a 600-denier polyester and mesh seat and aluminum legs, which are linked with shock cord (like what you’d find inside high-end tent poles).

Buy a mesh bag for storage, attach a D-Ring, and clamp it onto one of the chair’s support struts.

It was a cooperative effort of seven governmental agencies, one private landowner, and several environmental groups banded together in what later became the Ozark Trail Council. Under this cooperative relationship, the Ozark Trail Council oversaw the construction of some 170+ miles of trail in just under a decade. Along with previously existing trails, the Ozark Trail system contained more than 200 miles of trail by 1991.
After six months of frequent use, the stitching along one arm had come unraveled, and the small straps holding up the back of the armrests had both ripped in half. Helping build, maintain, or promote the Ozark Trail is a rewarding experience, and numerous opportunities are available to volunteers.
